[Machine] I was in the battlefield and the Prophet ﷺ sent us a type of date called "ajwah". He poured it for us and we were able to satisfy our hunger. Whenever one of us would be given a handful, he would say to his companions, "I have been given a handful, so take some."
كُنْتُ فِي الصُّفَّةِ فَبَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَيْنَا بِتَمْرٍ عَجْوَةٍ فَسَكَبَ إِلَيْنَا فَكُنَّا نُقْرِنُ الِاثْنَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْجُوعِ فَكُنَّا إِذْ قَرَنَ أَحَدُنَا قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ إِنِّي قَدْ قَرَنْتُ فَأَقْرِنُوا
[Machine] "I was with the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ , and then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent to us a basket of fresh dates. The basket was placed between us, and we started eating from it while feeling hungry. Our companions, when someone paired up with another, would say to their partner, "I have paired up, so let us pair up."
«كُنْتُ فِي أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِتَمْرِ عَجْوَةٍ فَكُبَّتْ بَيْنَنَا فَجَعَلْنَا نَأْكُلُ الثِّنْتَيْنِ مِنَ الْجُوعِ وَجَعَلَ أَصْحَابُنَا إِذَا قَرَنَ أَحَدُهُمْ قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ إِنِّي قَدْ قَرَنْتُ فَأَقْرِنُوا»
