[Machine] Arwa bintu Abdul-Muttalib had embraced Islam, so Salamah bin Bukht narrated to me from Umairah binti Ubaadillah bin Ka'b, from Ummi Durrah, from Barrah binti Abi Tijrah, she said, "Quraysh did not deny praying Duha (forenoon prayer), they only denied the time." I said, "The hadith is as mentioned, so we do not repeat it here, so ponder." Al-Hakim said.

كَانَتْ أَرْوَى بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ قَدْ أَسْلَمَتْ فَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ بُخْتٍ عَنْ عَمِيرَةَ بِنْتِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ دُرَّةَ عَنْ بَرَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي تَجْرَاةٍ قَالَتْ «كَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ لَا تُنْكِرُ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ الضُّحَى إِنَّمَا تُنْكِرُ الْوَقْتَ» قُلْتُ الْحَدِيثُ كَمَا مَرَّ ذِكْرُهُ فَلَا نُعِيدُهَا هُنَا فَتَأَمَّلْ قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ
