hakim:6575ʿAlī b. Ḥamshādh al-ʿAdl > Muʿādh b. al-Muthanná al-ʿAnbarī > ʿAbdullāh b. Sawwār > ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Bakr al-Muzanī > al-Ḥasan

[Machine] Al-Aswad ibn Sari' said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall I not recite to you some praises that I have praised my Lord with, Blessed and Exalted?" He said, "Indeed, your Lord, Blessed and Exalted, loves praise and He does not accept any additional praising beyond that." (Correct chain of narrators, but it has not been recorded by either of the two compilers of the Sahih collections).  

الحاكم:٦٥٧٥حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ قَالَ قَالَ

الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ سَرِيعٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا أَنْشُدُكَ مَحَامِدَ حَمِدْتُ بِهَا رَبِّي تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فَقَالَ «إِنَّ رَبَّكَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يُحِبُّ الْحَمْدَ وَلَمْ يَسْتَزِدْهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ» صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُصحيح
