[Machine] He came the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I observe the obligatory prayers, fast in Ramadan, make lawful what is halal, and forbid what is haram, and I do not add anything else to that, will I enter Paradise?" He said, "Yes." He said, "By Allah, I will not increase anything beyond that."

الحاكم:٦٤٩٦ – أَخْبَرْنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ قَوْقَلٍ

أَنَّهُ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَصُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ وَأَحْلَلْتُ الْحَلَالَ وَحَرَّمْتُ الْحَرَامَ وَلَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا أَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا

Would I enter Paradise if I say the obligatory prayers and deny myself that which is forbidden and treat that as lawful what has been made permissible (by the Shari'ah)? The Prophet ﷺ replied in the affirmative.

مسلم:١٥a – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لأَبِي كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ قَوْقَلٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَحَرَّمْتُ الْحَرَامَ وَأَحْلَلْتُ الْحَلاَلَ أَأَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ نَعَمْ

Shall I enter Paradise in case I say the obligatory prayers, observe the (fasts) of Ramadan and treat that as lawful which has been made permissible (by the Shari'ah) and deny myself that what is forbidden, and make no addition to it? He (the Holy Prophet) replied in the affirmative. He (the inquirer) said: By Allah, I would add nothing to it.

مسلم:١٥c – وَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ، وَصُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ، وَأَحْلَلْتُ الْحَلاَلَ، وَحَرَّمْتُ الْحَرَامَ، وَلَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا أَأَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ۔» قَالَ: وَاللَّهِ لاَ أَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا۔

[Machine] Naaman ibn Qawqal came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I perform the obligatory prayers, fast in Ramadan, refrain from the prohibited, and make the permissible lawful, and I do not increase upon that anything, will I enter Paradise?" He said, "Yes." Naaman then said, "By Allah, I will not increase upon that anything."

أحمد:١٤٧٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ نُعْمَانَ بْنَ قَوْقَلٍ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ وَصُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ وَحَرَّمْتُ الْحَرَامَ وَأَحْلَلْتُ الْحَلَالَ وَلَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا أَفَأَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ وَاللهِ لَا أَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came to Nu'man bin Qawqal and he said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I were to make lawful what is lawful and unlawful what is unlawful, and I were to perform the obligatory prayers, and Ibn Numayr said in his narration without increasing upon that, will I enter Paradise?" So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Yes."

أحمد:١٤٣٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
