[Machine] Jabir ibn Abdullah witnessed the pledge of allegiance at Al-Aqabah from the seventy Ansar who pledged their allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He was one of the youngest among them on that day. He desired to participate in the Battle of Badr, but his father left him behind to take care of his sisters. They were nine in number. Later, when he went out for the Battle of Uhud, his father left him again and he witnessed the events that followed.
