[Machine] I was presented to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Uhud, and I was the thirteen-year-old son of my guardian. My father took my hand and said, "O Messenger of Allah, he has weak bones, even though he is a muezzin." The Prophet ﷺ then scrutinized me and pointed me in the right direction and said, "Send him back." So, they returned me.
عُرِضْتُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلِي ابْنُ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ فَجَعَلَ أَبِي يَأْخُذُ بِيَدِي فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ عَبِلُّ الْعِظَامِ وَإِنْ كَانَ مُؤَذِّنًا قَالَ وَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَعِّدُ فِيَّ الْبَصَرَ وَيُصَوِّبُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «رُدَّهُ» فَرَدَّنِي
