[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ read the verse "Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing" [Quran 4:58], then he placed his finger of supplication on his eyes and his thumbs on his ears.  

الحاكم:٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا خَشْنَامُ بْنُ الصِّدِّيقِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ التُّجِيبِيُّ ثنا أَبُو يُونُسَ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ {إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا} [النساء 58] فَوَضَعَ إِصْبَعَةَ الدُّعَاءِ عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ وَإِبْهَامَيْهِ عَلَى أُذُنَيْهِ «»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدِ احْتَجَّ مُسْلِمٌ بِحَرْمَلَةَ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ وَأَبِي يُونُسَ وَالْبَاقُونَ مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ شَاهِدٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ على شرط مسلم
