[Machine] "Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As ibn Wa’il ibn Hashim ibn Sa’id ibn Sahm ibn Amr ibn Husaysh ibn Ka'b embraced Islam before his father. He was a man who was mentioned with a long body, red complexion, with great calves, a white head, and beard. He became blind in his old age. Abdullah ibn Amr passed away in Sham (Syria) in the year sixty-five, at that time he was seventy-two years old. He was also known as Abu Muhammad."  

الحاكم:٦٢٣٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ بْنِ وَائِلِ بْنِ هَاشِمِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَهْمِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ هُصَيْصِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَسْلَمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَبْلَ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ مِمَّا ذَكَرَ رَجُلًا طُوَالًا أَحْمَرَ عَظِيمَ السَّاقَيْنِ أَبْيَضَ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ وَكَانَ قَدْ عَمِيَ فِي آخِرِ عُمُرِهِ تُوُفِّيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو بِالشَّامِ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ابْنُ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً وَكَانَ يُكَنَّى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ»
