[Machine] "My father's name is Hurayrah. The nickname 'Sikkin' was attributed to him, which was settled in the name of Abu Hurayrah in nine ways, the most authentic one according to me in the Pre-Islamic era was 'Abd Shams,' and in Islam, it was 'Abd al-Rahman.' Likewise, there is a discrepancy regarding the year of his death."  

الحاكم:٦١٥٢فَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَنْجُوَيْهِ ثَنَا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ

«اسْمُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ سِكِّينٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَقَرَّ هَذَا الْخِلَافُ فِي اسْمِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى تِسْعَةِ أَوْجُهٍ أَصَحُّهَا عِنْدِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ عَبْدُ شَمْسٍ وَفِي الْإِسْلَامِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكَذَلِكَ سَنَةَ وَفَاتِهِ مُخْتَلِفٌ فِيهَا»
