[Machine] "Imran bin Husein bin Ubaid bin Khalaf bin Abd Nahem bin Huzmata bin Jahmata bin Ghadirah, also known by the nickname Abu Nujaid, embraced Islam early on along with his father, his sister, and he fought alongside the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, in numerous battles. He stayed in his homeland and then migrated to Basra, where he resided until his death. His son was born and he, Imran bin Husein, also passed away in Basra. Imran bin Husein passed away in Basra one year before Ziyad, and Ziyad passed away in the fifty-fifth year."  

الحاكم:٥٩٨٦حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَطَّةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«وَعِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ خَلَفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ نَهِمِ بْنِ حُزْمَةَ بْنِ جَهْمَةَ بْنِ غَاضِرَةَ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا نُجَيْدٍ أَسْلَمَ قَدِيمًا هُوَ وَأَبُوهُ وَأُخْتُهُ وَغَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ غَزَوَاتٍ وَلَمْ يَزَلْ فِي بِلَادِ قَوْمِهِ ثُمَّ تَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الْبَصْرَةِ فَنَزَلَ بِهَا إِلَى أَنْ مَاتَ بِهَا وَوَلَدُهُ بِهَا وَتُوُفِّيَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَبْلَ زِيَادٍ بِسَنَةٍ وَتُوُفِّيَ زِيَادٌ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وَخَمْسِينَ»
