[Machine] "I entered with Muawiyah to the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, and she said, 'O Muawiyah, you killed someone and his companions, and you did what you did.' And she mentioned the whole incident in detail."  

الحاكم:٥٩٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَتَّابٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْكِلَابِيُّ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ «يَا مُعَاوِيَةُ قَتَلْتَ حُجْرًا وَأَصْحَابَهُ وَفَعَلْتَ الَّذِي فَعَلْتَ» وَذَكَرَ الْحِكَايَةَ بِطُولِهَا
