[Machine] And Ka'b ibn Malik witnessed the Battle of Al-Aqaba and pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah SAW in it. He said, "We went as pilgrims from Medina, and Bara' ibn Ma'rur said to us, 'O people, I have had a dream, and by Allah, I do not know whether you agree with me on it or not.' We asked, 'What is it?' He said, 'I have seen that I should not leave this well-constructed building of mine at the back.' And he mentioned the hadith in its entirety, and I think I have already mentioned it in the mention of Bara' ibn Ma'rur."  

وَكَانَ كَعْبُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ وَبَايَعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِهَا قَالَ خَرَجْنَا فِي حُجَّاجٍ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ لَنَا الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ مَعْرُورٍ يَا هَؤُلَاءِ إِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رُؤْيَا وَاللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي أَتُوافِقُونِي عَلَيْهَا أَمْ لَا؟ قَالَ قُلْنَا وَمَا ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ قَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَنْ لَا أَدَعَ هَذِهِ الْبِنْيَةَ مِنِّي بِظَهْرٍ «وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ وَأَظُنُّنِي أَنِّي قَدْ أَخْرَجْتُهُ فِي ذِكْرِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ مَعْرُورٍ ؓ »
