الحاكم:٥٨٣٨ – حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ «إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ رَجُلًا لَا تَضُرُّهُ الْفِتْنَةُ» فَأَتَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَإِذَا فُسْطَاطٌ مَضْرُوبٌ وَإِذَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ

لَا نَشْتَمِلُ عَلَى سَيِّءٍ مِنْ أَمْصَارِهِمْ حَتَّى يَنْجَلِيَ الْأَمْرُ عَنْ مَا انْجَلَى «هَذِهِ فَضِيلَةٌ كَبِيرَةٌ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ»
