[Machine] The first person who recorded the books is Ya'la ibn Umayyah, and he was in Yemen. The Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah in the month of Rabi al-Awwal. People recorded the first year, and they only recorded it because of the Prophet's ﷺ arrival.  

الحاكم:٥٧٩٠أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ

أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَرَّخَ الْكُتُبَ يَعْلَى بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ وَهُوَ بِالْيَمَنِ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي شَهْرِ رَبِيعِ الْأَوَّلِ» وَأَنَّ النَّاسَ أَرَّخُوا لَأَوَّلِ السَّنَةِ وَإِنَّمَا أَرَّخَ النَّاسُ لِمَقْدَمِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
