[Machine] Al-Zubayr embraced Islam and migrated to the land of Abyssinia (Ethiopia) for both migrations together, and he did not fail to participate in the battle fought by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ considered him a brother to him and Ibn Mas'ood. He was a man of average height, neither tall nor short, with a light beard and dark complexion, and he had long hair.

أَسْلَمَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَهَاجَرَ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ الْهِجْرَتَيْنِ مَعًا وَلَمْ يَتَخَلَّفْ عَنْ غَزْوَةٍ غَزَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «آخَى بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ» وَكَانَ رَجُلًا لَيْسَ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلَا بِالْقَصِيرِ خَفِيفَ اللِّحْيَةِ أَسْمَرَ اللَّوْنِ أَشْعَرُ
