[Machine] My father woke up in the night to criticize and condemn Uthman. Then he prayed and supplicated, saying, "O Allah, protect me from trials and tribulations by preserving the righteous among Your servants. May I not go out or wake up except for his funeral." Sahih.
الطَّعْنِ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ قَامَ أَبِي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَدَعَا وَقَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي مِنَ الْفِتْنَةِ بِمَا وَقَيْتَ بِهِ الصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ فَمَا خَرَجَ وَلَا أَصْبَحَ إِلَّا بِجِنَازَتِهِ» صحيح
