[Machine] That Ubadah ibn al-Samit stood up in the middle of the house of the Commander of the Believers, Uthman ibn Affan, and said, "Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, Muhammad, also known as Abu Al-Qasim, say, 'After me, there will be individuals who will make you recognize what you denied and deny what you recognized. So, there is no obedience for those who disobey Allah. Therefore, do not blame yourselves. By the One in whose hand my soul is, Muawiya is one of those individuals.'" Uthman did not change any part of it. And this hadith has been narrated with a sound chain of narrators, according to the condition set by the two sheikhs, concerning the transmission of Ubadah ibn al-Samit's words to Uthman ibn Affan, abbreviatedly.  

أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ قَامَ قَائِمًا فِي وَسَطِ دَارِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مُحَمَّدًا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ يَقُولُ «سَيَلِي أُمُورَكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي رِجَالٌ يُعَرِّفُونَكُمْ مَا تُنْكِرُونَ وَيُنْكِرُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ مَا تَعْرِفُونَ فَلَا طَاعَةَ لِمَنْ عَصَى اللَّهَ فَلَا تَعْتُبُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ مِنْ أُولَئِكَ» فَمَا رَاجَعَهُ عُثْمَانُ حَرْفًا «وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ فِي وُرُودِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ مُتَظَلِّمًا بِمَتْنٍ مُخْتَصَرٍ»
