[Machine] "O people of the Ansar, why do you not come to me with your brothers from the Quraysh?" 'Ubadah said, "Because of a matter of necessity." He said, "Then why not in public?" He said, "We fought it on the Day of Badr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."  

الحاكم:٥٥١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ

لَهُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَأْتُونِي مَعَ إِخْوَانِكُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ؟ قَالَ عُبَادَةُ «الْحَاجَةُ» قَالَ فَهَلَّا عَلَى النَّوَاضِحِ؟ قَالَ «أَمْضَيْنَاهَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
