hakim:5419 – Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. Kāmil al-Qāḍī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prepare or present an army in the plain of Buhayr al-Khayl. Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib came forward and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is Abbas, the paternal uncle of your Prophet, the most generous of the Quraysh in terms of hand (ability to help) and the most affectionate towards them."  

الحاكم:٥٤١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْعَوْفِيُّ ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ التَّيْمِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو سُهَيْلِ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُجَهِّزُ أَوْ كَانَ يَعْرِضُ جَيْشًا بِبَقِيعِ الْخَيْلِ فَاطَّلَعَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «هَذَا الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّ نَبِيِّكُمْ أَجْوَدُ قُرَيْشٍ كَفًّا وَأَحْنَاهُ عَلَيْهَا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُجَهِّزُ بَعْثًا فِي مَوْضِعِ سُوقِ النَّخَّاسِينَ الْيَوْمَ إِذْ طَلَعَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّ نَبِيِّكُمْ أَجْوَدُ قُرَيْشٍ كَفًّا وَأَوْصَلُهَا»
