[Machine] Omar ibn al-Khattab took the hand of Abu Quhafa and brought him to the Prophet ﷺ. When he stood in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Change him and do not bring him close in (his current attire) of black." On the condition of being a Muslim.  

الحاكم:٥٠٦٨حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَخَذَ بِيَدِ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ فَأَتَى بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَلَمَّا وَقَفَ بِهِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «غَيِّرُوهُ وَلَا تُقَرِّبُوهُ سَوَادًا» على شرط مسلم
