[Machine] A man in the city heard someone saying, "My father brought me to the Messenger of Allah and asked, 'This is my son, what should I name him?' The Messenger of Allah replied, 'Name him Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, for he is the most beloved person to me.'" This unknown narrator has shortened the narration about Ibn Uyaynah, and the statement in it is from Ya'qub ibn Humaid. Abu Ahmad al-Hafiz used to argue with me that al-Bukhari has narrated from him in his authentic collection, but I refused to accept it, and al-Dhahabi excluded it from the summary due to its weakness.
