Then he said to Fatimah and her aunt Safiyyah, 'Rejoice, Gabriel came to me and informed me that Hamza is written in the heavens as 'Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, the Lion of Allah and the Lion of His Messenger.' This has been omitted by Al-Dhahabi in his summary."  

عَنْ شُيُوخِهِ قَالُوا لَمَّا أُصِيبَ حَمْزَةُ جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَنْ أُصَابَ بِمِثْلِكَ أَبَدًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ لِفَاطِمَةَ وَلِعَمَّتِهِ صَفِيَّةِ «أَبْشِرَا أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ حَمْزَةَ مَكْتُوبٌ فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ أَسَدُ اللَّهِ وَأَسَدُ رَسُولِهِ» حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص
