[Machine] Saad ibn Malik prepared to go out to Badr, but he fell ill and died. His burial place is near the house of Ibn Qaridh. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ struck him with his arrow and paid him his reward.  

الحاكم:٤٨٧٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

«تَجَهَّزَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ لِيَخْرُجَ إِلَى بَدْرٍ فَمَرِضَ فَمَاتَ فَمَوْضِعُ قَبْرِهِ عِنْدَ دَارِ ابْنِ قَارِظٍ فَضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِسَهْمِهِ وَأَجْرِهِ»
