[Machine] "Islam during the time of Umar was like a man who continually approaches, seeking closeness. But when Umar was assassinated, it became like a man who only moves further away, seeking distance."  

الحاكم:٤٤٨٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَأَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

«كَانَ الْإِسْلَامُ فِي زَمَانِ عُمَرَ كَالرَّجُلِ الْمُقْبِلِ لَا يَزْدَادُ إِلَّا قُرْبًا فَلَمَّا قُتِلَ عُمَرُ كَانَ كَالرَّجُلِ الْمُدْبِرِ لَا يَزْدَادُ إِلَّا بُعْدًا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
