[Machine] We were with Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq when he began to cry. So, we said, "O successor of the Messenger of Allah, why this crying?" Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.

الحاكم:٤٤٧٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا أَسْلَمُ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنْ مُرَّةَ الطَّيِّبِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ فَبَكَى فَقُلْنَا يَا خَلِيفَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مَا هَذَا الْبُكَاءُ؟ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
