Perhaps I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying witr (odd numbered night prayer) while the people were standing for Fajr prayer.  

الحاكم:١١٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ

رُبَّمَا «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُوتِرُ وَقَدْ قَامَ النَّاسُ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
