The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out by one road on the day of the 'Id (festival) and returned by another. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1156)  

الحاكم:١٠٩٨حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَخَذَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فِي طَرِيقٍ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فِي طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ»
