[Machine] "Abu Muhammad, the people of the Hijaz say that al-Aqrā'u al-Aṭhār (referring to a specific tribe or group of individuals) are the purest. The people of Iraq said it is al-Hayd (menstruation). Abdullah said, and I say that it is al-Hayd."

الدارمي:٩٥٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا خَلِيفَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ «بِالْأَقْرَاءِ» قَالَ

أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَهْلُ الْحِجَازِ يَقُولُونَ الْأَقْرَاءُ الْأَطْهَارُ وَقَالَ أَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ هُوَ الْحَيْضُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَنَا أَقُولُ هُوَ الْحَيْضُ
