[Machine] "The companions of the Prophet ﷺ did not differ, for if they agreed on something and a man left it, he left the Sunnah. And if they differed and a man took the saying of someone, he took the Sunnah."  

الدارمي:٦٥٣أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ «مَا أُحِبُّ

أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَمْ يَخْتَلِفُوا فَإِنَّهُمْ لَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى شَيْءٍ فَتَرَكَهُ رَجُلٌ تَرَكَ السُّنَّةَ وَلَوِ اخْتَلَفُوا فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ بِقَوْلِ أَحَدٍ أَخَذَ بِالسُّنَّةِ»
