darimi:397Aḥmad b. ʿAbdullāh > Zāʾidah > Hishām > al-Ḥasan

[Machine] "If a man seeks knowledge and acts upon it, it will be better for him than the whole world and everything in it, even if he possessed it, and he will have it in the Hereafter."  

الدارمي:٣٩٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

«إِنْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ لَيُصِيبُ الْبَابَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَيَعْمَلُ بِهِ فَيَكُونُ خَيْرًا لَهُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا لَوْ كَانَتْ لَهُ فَجَعَلَهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

[Machine] He hears about knowledge's door, so he learns it and acts upon it, and it becomes better for him than the world and all that is in it if he were to prioritize it in the hereafter.
