[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to eat on the day of Eid Al-Fitr before going out. And when it was the day of Eid Al-Adha, he would not eat until he returned and would eat from his sacrificial animal."

الدارمي:١٦٤١ – أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ الْأَصَمِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَطْعَمُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ» «وَكَانَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ لَمْ يَطْعَمْ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْ ذَبِيحَتِهِ»
