darimi:1157Muḥammad b. ʿUyaynah > ʿAlī b. Mushir > ʿAbd al-Malik > ʿAṭāʾ

[Machine] "When a man has intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating, he should give half a dinar in charity." A man from the community said to him, "But Hasan (a narrator) said that one should just free a slave as atonement." He replied, "There is no restriction upon you in drawing closer to Allah to the best of your ability."  

الدارمي:١١٥٧أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ

«إِذَا وَقَعَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ» فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ فَإِنَّ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ يُعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً قَالَ «مَا أَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَقَرَّبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ»
