Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman said, 'The hypocrites of today are worse than those of the lifetime of the Prophet, because in those days they used to do evil deeds secretly but today they do such deeds openly.'  

البخاري:٧١١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ الأَحْدَبِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ قَالَ

إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ الْيَوْمَ شَرٌّ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَانُوا يَوْمَئِذٍ يُسِرُّونَ وَالْيَوْمَ يَجْهَرُونَ

[Machine] Indeed, the hypocrites today are worse than them during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ; they used to conceal it back then, but today they declare it openly.
