The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah does not accept prayer of anyone of you if he does Hadath (passes wind) till he performs the ablution (anew).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلاَةَ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا أَحْدَثَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ

This is what has been transmitted to us by Abu Huraira from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and then narrated a hadith out of them and observed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The prayer of none amongst you would be accepted in a state of impurity until he performs ablution.

عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُقْبَلُ صَلاَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا أَحْدَثَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ

The Apostle of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) said : Allaah, the Exalted, does not accept the prayer of any of you when you are defiled until you performed ablution.  

أبو داود:٦٠حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلاَةَ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا أَحْدَثَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ

the Prophet said: "Indeed Allah does not accept the prayer of one of you when he commits Hadath, until he performs Wudu."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَقْبَلُ صَلاَةَ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا أَحْدَثَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
