bukhari:6581 – Abū al-Walīd > Hammām > Qatādah > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ said: "While I was walking in Paradise (on the night of Mi'raj), I saw a river, on the two banks of which there were tents made of hollow pearls. I asked, "What is this, O Gabriel?' He said, 'That is the Kauthar which Your Lord has given to you.' Behold! Its scent or its mud was sharp smelling musk!" (The sub-narrator, Hudba is in doubt as to the correct expression. )  

البخاري:٦٥٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَحَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا أَنَا بِنَهَرٍ حَافَتَاهُ قِبَابُ الدُّرِّ الْمُجَوَّفِ قُلْتُ مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ فَإِذَا طِينُهُ أَوْ طِيبُهُ مِسْكٌ أَذْفَرُ شَكَّ هُدْبَةُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "While I was walking in Jannah (Paradise), I came across a river surrounded by domes made of hollow pearls. I asked Gabriel, 'What is this?' He replied, 'This is Al-Kawthar that your Lord has bestowed upon you.' Then I struck it with my hand, and its clay turned into musk emitting a sweet fragrance. The hollow pearls said, 'Forgiveness to the hollow one.'"  

أحمد:١٢٩٨٩ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِنَهَرٍ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ الدُّرِّ الْمُجَوَّفِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ؟ قَالَ هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ ﷻ قَالَ فَضَرَبْتُ بِيَدِي فَإِذَا طِينُهُ مِسْكٌ أَذْفَرُ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ الْمُجَوَّفُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "While I was walking in Paradise, I came to a river with banks made of pearls. I asked, 'What is this, O Jibril?' He replied, 'This is Al-Kawthar which your Lord has granted you.' I then touched it with my hand and found its soil to be scented musk."  

أحمد:١٤٠٧٩ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: While I was walking in Paradise, a river appeared to me, lined with hollow pearls. I said, 'What is this, O Jibril?' He replied, 'This is Al-Kawthar, which your Lord has given to you.' He then scooped some musk from its clay and presented it to me."  

أحمد:١٣١٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ عَرَضَ لِي نَهَرٌ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْمُجَوَّفِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ؟ قَالَ هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ قَالَ فَأَهْوَى الْمَلَكُ بِيَدِهِ فَأَخْرَجَ مِنْ طِينِهِ مِسْكًا أَذْفَرَ

"بَينَمَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا بنَهْرٍ حَافَّتاهُ قِبَابُ الدُّرِّ المُجَوَّفِ، قُلتُ: يَا جبْريلُ مَا هَذَا؟ قال: هَذا الكوْثَرُ الَّذي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ. فضَرَب المَلَكُ بيَدِهِ فَإِذَا طِينَتُهُ مِسْكٌ أَذفَرُ".
