Messenger of Allah ﷺ disliked to sleep before the ʿIsha' prayer and to talk after it.  

البخاري:٥٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا

"The Messenger of Allah used to like to delay the 'Isha', and he disliked sleeping before it, and engaging in conversation after it."  

ابن ماجة:٧٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ سَيَّارِ بْنِ سَلاَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الأَسْلَمِيِّ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ الْعِشَاءَ وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَهَا وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا  

malik:7-6 – Mālik > Balaghah

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Said ibn al-Musayyab used to say, "Sleep is disapproved of before isha and conversation after it."  

مالك:٧-٦ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ

أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ كَانَ يَقُولُ يُكْرَهُ النَّوْمُ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَالْحَدِيثُ بَعْدَهَا
