The Prophet ﷺ came to (the grave of) ʿAbdullah bin Ubai after his body was buried. The body was brought out and then the Prophet ﷺ put his saliva over the body and clothed it in his shirt.
أَتَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أُبَىٍّ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَ فَأَخْرَجَهُ فَنَفَثَ فِيهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ
The Prophet ﷺ came to visit ʿAbdullah bin Ubai (bin Salul) after he had been put in his grave. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that ʿAbdullah be taken out. He was taken out and was placed on the knees of the Prophet, who blew his (blessed) breath on him and dressed the body with his own shirt. And Allah knows better.
أَتَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أُبَىٍّ بَعْدَ مَا أُدْخِلَ قَبْرَهُ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ وَوُضِعَ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَنَفَثَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ
" عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: أَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَبْرَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُبَىٍّ بَعْدَ مَا أُدْخِلَ حُفْرَتَهُ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ، فَأُخْرِجَ فَوُضِعَ عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ وَفَخِذِهِ، فَنَفَثَ فِيهِ مِنْ رِيِقهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ".
