59.11 The characteristics of Iblis (Satan) and his soldiers

[Machine] And Mujahid said: "They are thrown, they are cast out. In retreat, they are expelled. Unwavered, they are constant." And Ibn Abbas said: "Pushed away, expelled, it is said: rebellious, defiant. He tore it apart. Provoked, he mocked. By your horses, the horsemen. And a man, the men – one of them is called a man, like a companion and companions, a merchant and merchants. I will definitely eradicate you. Companion, a devil."

as below. Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet ﷺ said, "A good dream is from Allah, and a bad or evil dream is from Satan; so if anyone of you has a bad dream of which he gets afraid, he should spit on his left side and should seek Refuge with Allah from its evil, for then it will not harm him."

The reward of saying "la ilaha illa Allah..." one hundred times daily

bukhari:3293ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf > Mālik > Suma a freed slave of Abū Bakr > Abū Ṣāliḥ > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says:

lā ilāha illā allāhu waḥdahū, lā sharīka lahū, lahū al-mulku wa-lahu al-ḥamdu, wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr

(There is no deity but Allah alone; He has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable)*

... one hundred times in a day, it will be for him (1) the equivalent of freeing ten slaves, (2) one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, (3) one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him, and (4) it will be a protection for him from Satan that day until evening. No one will come with something better than what he has brought, except someone who does more than that.”

Satan himself is scared of Umar ᴿᴬ

bukhari:3294ʿAlī b. ʿAbdullāh > Yaʿqūb b. Ibrāhīm > Abī > Ṣāliḥ > Ibn Shihāb > ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd > Muḥammad b. Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ > Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ

Umar asked permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while there were women from Quraysh with him, speaking to him and asking much of him, their voices raised. When Umar asked permission, they got up and rushed toward the hijab (screen). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him permission, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was laughing. Umar said, “May Allah ﷻ make you smile, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “I was amazed at these women who were with me; when they heard your voice, they rushed toward the hijab.”

Umar said, “You, O Messenger of Allah, were more deserving that they should be in awe of you.” Then he said, “O enemies of their own selves, do you stand in awe of me and not stand in awe of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?” They said, “Yes; you are harsher and sterner than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “By Him in whose hand is my soul, Satan has never met you taking a path except that he takes a path other than yours.”

59.12 The mention of Jinn, their reward and retribution

[Machine] To His saying, "O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, relating to you My verses...," until His saying, exalted is He, "...from what they do," a diminishing and belittlement. Mujahid said: "And they made between Him and the jinn lineage." The disbelievers of Quraysh said: "The angels are the daughters of Allah, and their mothers are the daughters of jinni lords." Allah said: "And the jinni have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought before [Hellfire]. Regiments [appearing] in succession." (Surah Saffat, 37:158-173) at the Day of Reckoning.

"I see you are fond of sheep and the desert, so when you want to pronounce the Adhan, raise your voice with it for whoever will hear the Adhan whether a human being, or a Jinn, or anything else, will bear witness, in favor on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Saʿid added, "I have heard this from Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
