[Machine] "He said that sea water does not suffice for purification or ritual impurity, for underneath the sea there is fire, then water, then fire, until it reaches seven seas and seven rivers. This is what was narrated while paused."  

البيهقي:٨٦٦٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو الْمُوَجِّهِ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ أنبأ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَهَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَاءُ الْبَحْرِ لَا يُجْزِئُ مِنْ وُضُوءٍ وَلَا مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ إِنَّ تَحْتَ الْبَحْرِ نَارًا ثُمَّ مَاءً ثُمَّ نَارًا حَتَّى عَدَّ سَبْعَةَ أَبْحُرٍ وَسَبْعَةَ أَنْيَارٍ هَكَذَا رُوِيَ مَوْقُوفًا
