[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no fasting for the person who is in I'tikaf unless he makes it obligatory upon himself," as Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Nasr Al-Ramli did.

البيهقي:٨٥٨٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلٍ عَمِّ مَالِكٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُعْتَكِفِ صِيَامٌ إِلَّا أَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ هَذَا وَقَدْ

رَوَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ اجْتَمَعْتُ أَنَا وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شِهَابٍ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَكَانَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِي اعْتِكَافُ ثَلَاثٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ لَا يَكُونُ اعْتِكَافٌ إِلَّا بِصَوْمٍ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أَمِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَمِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَمِنْ عُمَرَ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَمِنْ عُثْمَانَ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ أَبُو سُهَيْلٍ فَانْصَرَفْتُ فَوَجَدْتُ طَاوُسًا وَعَطَاءً فَسَأَلْتُهُمَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ طَاوْسٌ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لَا يَرَى عَلَى الْمُعْتَكِفِ صِيَامًا إِلَّا أَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ ذَلِكَ رَأْيٌ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ مَوْقُوفٌ وَرَفْعُهُ وَهْمٌ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ مَوْقُوفًا وَهُوَ فِيمَا
