[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you is fasting, then break your fast with dates. And if you do not have dates, then break your fast with water, for verily water is purifying."  

البيهقي:٨١٢٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ ثنا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الرَّبَابِ عَنْ عَمِّهَا سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى التَّمْرِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ التَّمْرَ فَعَلَى الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُوَرٌ  

رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ وَهِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ وَرَوَاهُ هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ فَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ
