[Machine] Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said, "Whoever intentionally breaks their fast during Ramadan without a valid excuse, and then spends their whole life trying to make up for it, it will not be accepted from them by any means. This person, I believe, is Ibn Husayn al-Nakha'i, who is not strong in knowledge."  

البيهقي:٨٠٦٧وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مَنْ رَمَضَانَ مُتَعَمِّدًا مِنْ غَيْرِ عِلَّةٍ ثُمَّ قَضَى طُولَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يُقْبَلْ مِنْهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ هَذَا أَظُنُّهُ ابْنَ حُسَيْنٍ النَّخَعِيِّ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ
