[Machine] He did not fast for a month from the year except for Sha'ban, as he used to fast the entire month of Sha'ban.  

البيهقي:٧٩٦٤ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ لَا يَصُومُ مِنَ السَّنَةِ شَهْرًا إِلَّا شَعْبَانَ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ  

أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو النَّضْرِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي شَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا بَلْ كَانَ يَصُومُهُ كُلَّهُ
