bayhaqi:7858 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū ʿAbdullāh Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth > Muḥammad b. Zayd > ʿUmayr a freed slave of Abū al-Laḥm

I was the slave (of Abi'l-Lahm). I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ if I could give some charity out of my master's wealth. He said: Yes, and the reward is half and half between you two. (Using translation from Muslim 1025a)   

البيهقي:٧٨٥٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي اللَّحْمَ قَالَ

كُنْتُ مَمْلُوكًا فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَصَدَّقُ مِنْ مَالِ مَوَالِيَّ بِشَيْءٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَالْأَجْرُ بَيْنَكُمَا نِصْفَانِ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَغَيْرِهِ
