البيهقي:٧١٦١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ أنبأ سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ لَمَّا مَاتَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ اجْتَمَعَ نِسْوَةُ بَنِي الْمُغِيرَةِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَيْهِ فَقِيلَ لِعُمَرَ ؓ أَرْسِلْ إِلَيْهِنَّ فَإِنَّهُنَّ لَا يَبْلُغْكَ عَنْهُنَّ شَيْءٌ تَكْرَهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَا عَلَيْهِنَّ

أَنْ يَهْرِقْنَ دُمُوعَهُنَّ عَلَى أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ نَقْعًا أَوْ لَقْلَقَةً
