[Machine] He used to raise his hands during every takbeer of the funeral prayer, and when he stood between the two rak'ahs, meaning in the one that is obligatory, it was narrated from Anas ibn Malik that he used to raise his hands whenever he said the takbeer for the funeral prayer. Ash-Shafi'i said: "I heard similar from Sa'id ibn Al-Musayyib and 'Urwah ibn Az-Zubayr." The Shaykh (i.e. Al-Albani) said: "And it has been narrated from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, 'Ata ibn Abi Rabah, 'Umar ibn 'Abdul 'Aziz, Hasan, and Muhammad ibn Sirin."
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ مِنْ تَكْبِيرِ الْجِنَازَةِ وَإِذَا قَامَ بَيْنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ يَعْنِي فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ وَيُذْكَرُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ كُلَّمَا كَبَّرَ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَبَلَغَنِي عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَعُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَرُوِّينَاهُ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ وَعَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ وَعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَالْحَسَنِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ
