[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands when praying for a deceased person during the first takbeer, then he would place his right hand over his left hand.  

البيهقي:٦٩٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَرَّاقُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي أَوَّلِ التَّكْبِيرِ ثُمَّ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى  

رَوَاهُ أَبُو عِيسَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ فِي كِتَابِهِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبَانَ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ أَيْضًا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ سَجَّادَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْلَى فَإِنْ كَانَ حَفِظَهُ فَهُوَ مِمَّا تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ
