[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanding it to be leveled, the wording of the Hadith of Al-Rudhbari and in another narration of Abu Salih, Thumama ibn Shufay narrated that he said: We were with Fadalah ibn 'Ubayd in the land of Rome, and the rest is equal.

البيهقي:٦٧٥٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ أنبأ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَا ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ بِرُوذِسَ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ فَتُوُفِّيَ صَاحِبٌ لَنَا فَأَمَرَ فَضَالَةُ بِقَبْرِهِ فَسُوِّيَ ثُمَّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺيَأْمُرُ بِتَسْوِيَتِهَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الرُّوذْبَارِيِّ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ أَنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ شُفَيٍّ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ وَالْبَاقِي سَوَاءٌ

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَهَارُونَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ
