[Machine] Indeed, the Sunnah does not contradict with analogy. Al-Shafi'i mentioned in the narration of al-Za'farani about him, that the statement he made from the companions that there is no need for ablution (wudu) in it, he said it based on personal opinion. And whoever considers ablution obligatory in it, should consider it obligatory only by adhering to (following) it.  

البيهقي:٦٥٠أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ اجْتَمَعَ سُفْيَانُ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ فَتَذَاكَرَا مَسَّ الذَّكَرِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ يُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهُ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ لَا يُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَمْسَكَ بِيَدِهِ مَنِيًّا مَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ يَغْسِلُ يَدَهُ قَالَ فَأَيُّهُمَا أَكْبَرُ الْمَنِيُّ أَوْ مَسُّ الذَّكَرِ؟ فَقَالَ مَا أَلْقَاهَا عَلَى لِسَانِكَ إِلَّا الشَّيْطَانُ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَإِنَّمَا أَرَادَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ

أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ لَا تُعَارَضُ بِالْقِيَاسِ وَذَكَرَ الشَّافِعِيُّ فِي رِوَايَةِ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ عَنْهُ أَنَّ الَّذِي قَالَهُ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ لَا وُضُوءَ فِيهِ فَإِنَّمَا قَالَهُ بِالرَّأْيِ وَمَنْ أَوْجَبَ الْوُضُوءَ فِيهِ فَلَا يُوجِبُهُ إِلَّا بِالِاتِّبَاعِ
