[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Never does a gust of wind blow from the south, but it brings glad tidings of rain." Ash-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "This means that Allah created it (the gust) to bring good news of rain before His mercy."  

البيهقي:٦٤٨٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ قَالَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا هَبَّتْ جَنُوبٌ إِلَّا أَسَالَتْ وَادِيًا قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ يَعْنِي أَنَّ اللهَ خَلَقَهَا تَهُبُّ بُشْرَى بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ مِنَ الْمَطَرِ
